How do I earn $WASTE tokens?

Simply submit your waste for collection through our platform. Once verified by a collector, you'll receive $WASTE tokens based on material type and quantity. PET plastic earns 10 tokens/kg, aluminum 15/kg, and e-waste 50/kg.
What's the value of $WASTE tokens?

$WASTE tokens are pegged at 0.01 ADA per token. At current rates, that's approximately ₦50 per token. You can redeem tokens for cash or use them in our recycler marketplace.
Do I need a Cardano wallet?

Yes! You'll need a Cardano wallet (Nami, Eternl, or Lace) to receive NFT receipts and $WASTE tokens. Don't worry – our platform will guide you through the simple setup process.
How are collections verified?

Collections are verified through GPS geofencing, photo hash validation, and collector signatures. Our Aiken smart contracts ensure that every verification is recorded immutably on the Cardano blockchain.
What are NFT receipts?

NFT receipts are unique, blockchain-based proof-of-collection tokens that follow the CIP-25 standard. Each receipt contains metadata about your waste submission including type, quantity, location, and timestamp – all stored permanently on IPFS.
